CYKLOiD :: FreeRide Aconcagua 2006

Bicycle expedition across the Andy wastes. Our route led across the area, where each gram of food and each drop of water have a special worth; high passes, mountain routes and wide valleys. Additionally, we decided to face two summits - Ojos del Salado (Chile) and Aconcagua (Argentina). Neither Salted Eye of Atacama nor Stone Guard surrendered the trial to reach them by bicycle, but Aconcagua was reached 24 February 2006 by classical route.

During the expedition we got the opportunity to experience everything that South America offered. Thanks to is's natural, culture and friendly people – we could really feel free.

• Expedition story

Our next bicycle expedition ,as usual, combines the passion for mountains with cycling.
We crossed the part of Himalayas - a few high passes above 4000 m above see level and the highest road pass on the world Khardung La 5602 m above see level. Contact with other culture was an interesting experience during this expedition. Moreover we made the attempt to reach the summit Stok Kangri.

Dolomity 2001

• Expedition story

Hybrid expedition to the Dolomites – cycling combines with hiking the most beautiful massive of the Dolomites.

During our last year expedition to the Alps we were only able to admire the Dolomites on the way to the Brenerro pass. Additionally, we were wanting in hiking the mountains. This time we decided to add to our expedition also climbing to a few summits.

While this expedition we reached a few hight road passes and four summits:

• Croda Rosa di Sesto
• Monte Paterno
• Tafana di Dentro
• Punta Serauta (Marmolada massive)
